Steffca was awarded this year’s local commercial prize

At the general meeting of Østfyns Business Council on March 25^th, Steffca was awarded the commercial prize of 2010. One of the reasons for this award was that despite the financial crisis Steffca has expanded and increased the number of employees within the latest year.

The founder of the company, Kurt Steffensen and his sons, Martin and Mikkel, who in 2008 acquired the controlling interest and management of the company, were presented with the prize by Jan Jessen, chairman of the board of Østfyns Business Council. The award was among other things motivated by Steffca’s environmentally sound activities, their innovative ideas, their social responsibility, and not the least the fact that the company has been able to increase business and staff considerably during time of depression.  Jan Jessen described Steffca as a lighthouse within their line of business.
